The Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity in Action (IDEA) Committee charges are to:

  • Establish regional/cultural member ambassadors. (Collaborate with Membership)
  • Conduct analysis of the diversity of past and current membership, leadership, and conference attendees and speakers (collaborate with Membership and Program) and set year 1, year 2, year 3 diversity goals.
  • Create new, maintain/enhance existing programs to overcome socio-economic and geographic barriers for those dedicated to the field. (Collaborate with Education)
  • Encourage the distribution of culturally sensitive ISPG scientific and society materials
  • Plan the IDEA Plenary at the WCPG.
