Dr. Guislain Award “Breaking the Chains of Stigma Award” – Recognizes truly outstanding individuals/organizations from around the world – who have helped make a difference through their efforts. You can nominate your candidate until April 16th, 2017 at The award ceremony will take place in Belgium around the 10th of October 2017, World Mental Health Day. The winner of the Dr. Guislain Award receives $50,000.

International Brain Research Institute – The IBRO International Travel Grants aim to foster neuroscience research, especially in less well-funded countries, by providing support to high-quality neuroscientists from diverse geographic and scientific areas (US/Canada Region excluded), who wish to participate in international neuroscience meetings.

National Organization of Research Development Professionals – Provides a list of comprehensive compilation of research grant mechanisms, types, and programs representing collaborative, cross-disciplinary (multi/inter/transdisciplinary) and team-based funding opportunities.

AbbVie Pharmaceutical – Offers Education Support Grants for fellowships, patient education, screening programs, scholarships to educational conferences, third-party educational, scientific or professional meetings.

Amgen Pharmaceutical – Corporate giviging initiatives include: research grants and fellowships; donations of cash, product and equipment; community involvement through corporate sponsorships; and cash donations and volunteerism by Amgen staff members.

Shire Pharmaceutical – Provide funding for investigator-initiated research requests and healthcare related charitable contributions and sponsorship requests.

Genentech Pharmaceutical – Offers support, resources and funding for healthcare-related charitable support, philanthropic charitable support, scientific project support and fellowships.

Lundbeck Pharmaceutical – Supports independent research initiatives (i.e., investigator initiated trials). This support includes research grants and/or supply of investigational medicinal products (IMP) and/or validation of study design.
