Faculty Professor Associate - Pittsburgh, PA, USA (On-Site) in Clinical Psychology

The Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for one tenure-track position at the Assistant to Associate Professor level in Clinical Psychology, pending budgetary approval, to begin in the Fall of 2026. We are seeking candidates with core training in Clinical Psychology whose research complements and builds upon our current research areas. Our primary interest is in candidates who do research on adult psychopathology.  Secondary consideration will be given to those with expertise in brain imaging or genetics. Candidates are encouraged to highlight how principles of transparency, openness, and/or generalizability have informed their approach to research. We also welcome candidates who can build our department-wide emphasis on varied cultures and perspectives by contributing research and training strengths in this area. The Psychology Department is committed to excellence in research and in teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Its 34 tenure-stream faculty offer five graduate training programs: Biological and Health, Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, and Social, along with cross-program training opportunities. The interdisciplinary nature of psychological science is reflected in both faculty research interests and collaborations and training options afforded to graduate students.

Clinical Research Associate - Edmonton, AB, Canada (On-site) in Research & Research Support

In accordance with the Trust/Research Academic Staff Agreement, this position has a comprehensive benefits package and an annual salary range of $76,135 to $85,660. This position has an initial appointment of 1 year.

Location - This role is hybrid with a mix of remote and in-person work at North Campus Edmonton.

Psychiatry is a department in the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry at the University of Alberta. Our department couples basic science with clinical research to promote world-class investigations on issues relevant to mental health. The Department also has a diverse group of outstanding scientists who are internationally recognized. These scientists are carrying out some of the leading-edge research in neuropsychiatry, mood and anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia.

The Research Associate will apply extensive knowledge in their field to lead a major and distinct portion of clinical pharmacogenomics research projects and contribute to other research being conducted by the team for which they have relevant expertise under the direction of the Principal Investigator.

Duties may include fulfilling supervisory and co-supervisory roles, assisting with and applying for funding, preparing reports for funders, contributing to departmental, to Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, and to University research activities.

The Research Associate will lead and assist with clinical pharmacogenomics project management and execution. They will be responsible for leading/contributing to clinical pharmacogenomics research project study design, data collection, data analysis, interpretation and evaluation, presentation/communication, and preparing material for publication. They will also be responsible for clinical pharmacogenomics research project management including oversight of monitoring project resources and administration.
